Taste the Fun – update of the San Diego County Fair
We survived another week at the San Diego County Fair, with the theme of “Taste the Fun”. It has been a real challenge to fill all the events that we the sdchefsdecuisine association have committed to, with people canceling or not showing up to events that they said they would do.
So I judged a couple of compatitions and had to do cooking demonstrations on the fly. It is pretty hard to get up on a stage in front of about a 100 people and talk for an hour while cooking. It is not like these cooking shows that have comercial breaks every 15 minutes, but I pulled it off with some help from other chefs in our association with great success.
