The Western – Foodservice & Hospitality – Expo 2009

I went to The Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo 2009 last weekend.
It was a good event but It was a little disappointing in the amount of food venders, not very many. It seemed to be a lot of equipment booths.

With the economy the way it is I can’t imagine that there was a lot of equipment sales. I think the most impressive piece of kitchen equipment that I saw was a food scale that can be completely immersible in water, great for cleaning.

They did have some food preparation shows that where pretty good. All and all not a bad way to spend a very hot Sunday at the San Diego Convention center.
